You need to have a plan and there is no excuse to not have one. v You need to get in shape when you are starting a new company.
v Get a mentor, 8 hours of sleep, eat well, get in shape, & plan.

v Sometimes you have to take an idea and do what might not be "sexy" to succeed.
v One reason we had success was because we ran hard and fast.
v Investors want to see that you are humble.
v We seized one of our biggest deal every by responding to an investors answer with, "on a scale of 1 to 10, my product is about a 3"
v Don't be stingy or worry about equity when founding a company.
v Make sure to have as much fun as you can. If you are having fun & have passion, your chances of success are much higher.
v Don't try to fool yourself & investors with false data.

v One way to know that people are great is to have worked with them in the past.
v You want to make the interview process as tough as possible and provide them with plenty of opportunities to opt out.
v You can't change the world on vacation.
